GV80

Stunningly beautiful and comfortable. A great cruiser. Love so many of the features. Heads up display is awesome. Feels a little heavy and gas mileage is terrible with an under powered sound system. The infotainment display is amazing but can be difficult to reach when driving.

I love this vehicle. It is gorgeous and drives very well but within 1 month of driving it, Genesis connected service stopped working all of sudden. I have contacted dealer, took it to service department, and called genesis several times, but this matter is not resolved.

Comfortable Performance

Great vehicle. Looked at Genesis only because Lexus was not available. For the price you cannot beat the Genesis. Had all the features (and some better) than Lexus. Only downside is no Hybrid and gas milage is a bit low (I am avg about 20 mpg). Only complaint on comfort is the seats are a bit firm. But other than that fun to drive. And the 3.5T is pretty spirited for a luxury mid-size SUV.

Outstanding Ride

My new GV80 is hands down the nicest most comfortable car i have ever owned. I was looking to replace my Ford Explorer and looked at Audi, mercedes, and BMW. For the value, style comfort and features Genesis hands down won in every category.. We are now looking at G60 electric for my wife to replace here mini cooper

So far so good!

Incredibly happy with our purchase. Vehicle is comfortable and luxurious, far exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend others to purchase as well. We spent weeks looking at multiple other vehicles, but ultimately decided on the GV80. Again, very happy so far!

My GV80

I love my GV80. When I first saw someone driving one I loved the vehicle and kept throwing hints at my husband that I would love to get one never thinking that someday that I would. After doing some research, we went to the local Genesis dealership and I test drove the GV80. I loved the vehicle but they didn’t have the color I wanted. I did more research and found it in North Orlando, FL. We drove up there and made the purchase.

Great Car

I purchased this vehicle as a Christmas gift for my adult daughter. The quality and safety of the vehicle was extremely important to me for her. Everything appears to be as advertised. I'm sure there will be some things that will have to be addressed, there always are with any new vehicle. However, everything has been great so far. The dealership and sales representative were great to deal with.

Very very happy with this car. We picked it over Mercedes, Volvo, Cadillac.

Very happy with this car. We took a long time looking at other vehicle and did not make a quick decision. We have no regrets on this purchase, we love driving it and feel that we made the right choice. Mercedes, Volvo, Cadillac, held our attention until we got in and drove this car.

Poor Dealer Training

The GV80 overall is impressive but the dealership is not informed about the car features, delivered the car poorly prepped and did not show me how to use all the features. This dealership should not be selling luxury vehicles and needs some serious training. They also need a professional delivery area like Audi has.

GV80

The most important item I was looking for in a vehicle was/is safety. The Genesis has a very high reputation for safety. I feel comfortable in the vehicle both as a passenger and a driver. It has been easy to drive on the highways in rain and hopefully will handle well in snow.

Very Disappointing

During the first month of ownership of a 2023 Genesis GV-80 Prestige, I had to request assistance from Genesis Connected Services three times to reboot the modem. Without the modem, the navigation system does not properly function and I have had to use Apple Car Play. Additionally, I loved the appearance of the front of the car until I realized that there is no way to mount the front license plate without attaching it to the grille. Did the engineers not think of this, or just not care?

I enjoy my New GV80, but I can’t understand why it doesn’t have the very useful features of your speedometer showing in the driver’s windshield as the G90 has? This feature keeps you aware of how fast you are traveling, and think it’s very useful, for my GV80 costing 80,000 dollars it should have this very important feature in it.

Fantastic in every respect!!

Love the car!! Although I wanted a GV80 six cylinder turbo, there were none at the dealership so I purchased the four cylinder turbo model. It performs much better than I anticipated. The comfort and elegant look of the GV80 makes it an absolute winner. My wife fell in love with it.

Most luxurious and comfortable vehicle I have ever owned, and I have owned over 50 vehicles. The exterior styling is so unique, and the interior amenities make for a super satisfying ride. I continue to discover features that make the experience of walking up to the car, entering the car, and driving the car superb.

Value, luxury, and tech

For luxury suv, comparable performance, technology, and safety features would run you $20,000 more with other brands. The quality and service is great as well. I love using the lane keep assist and cruise control features. The touch screen is responsive and easy to use.

Best SUV ever

Totally blow away by the quality and performance. Purchased the GV80 with all the bells and whistles. Awesome ride and is a real eye stopper. Our friends are blown away by the styling and quality. This is a dream SUV and extremely happy. Waiting for the G90 convertible to come out. I love my BMW convertible but will probably sell and buy the Genesis once I see it in person if is is as nice as the GV80 it will be a no brainer.

My experience was great. My sales rep was the best! He supported the purchase from beginning to end and follows up to make sure I am satisfied with the car. The car is amazing. I truly enjoy driving it. This is my first Genesis. Actually my first non-Toyota car since I started driving.

Great Value…lots of safety features there are a few things that I believe should be included or a least optional like mirror monitor & wireless CarPlay & android auto …..AR navigation ….OTA updates maybe the option to have painted calipers on the top trims

Excellent ride quality with features to match. All the safety equipment and technology you need to keep the family safe as well as the exterior looks to go with it. Turns heads in parking lots . From the design aspect has clean lines on the outside minimalistic design on the inside.
