Super vehicle for the money

I really like the car, outstanding fit and finish , although the gas mileage could be a bit better. The downside of it is the fact that a $77,000 car has no spare tire. I understand that the Genesis service will come when you call but having no spare tire means you have to get towed and find a way home. My cheap 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz, $30,000 came with a spare tire so I don't understand why Genesis doesn't have one especially when there is a spot for one. Cost me $600 for peace of mind travelling. Get it together Genesis when you spend this much for a car another couple of hundred is going to stop someone from buying one.

what is this

Genesis GV80 is very well built with features that are easy to operate. Styling is very fresh inside and out with handling very impressive.Seating is very comfortable front and rear. Can't say enough about the safety features which makes the vehicle so enjoyable to drive .

More Pros than Cons after 1 Year Ownership

Overall lovely design (interior and exterior). Great driving, road noise is very quiet. Sound system is great. The cons are basically no wireless Android Auto, if you have a large phone like a S23 Ultra, it will not be able to charge using the wireless charging pad. HVAC fan is pretty loud from the engine bay. Slight weird transmission shift when turning onto a street with an immediate incline. However the Pros still outweighs the Cons. Would still buy again if they solve majority of Cons in future variations. Hopefully still Gasoline and not the trendy/silly EV market.

Excellent vehicle

Seating isn't as comfortable as would be expected for a luxury type vehicle. Infotainment center is too busy and sometimes is hard to navigate. Vehicle drives extremely well and is easy to operate. Wish it had a regular gear shift lever. Took a while to remember how to change gear.

Love it

Love this SUV, has many luxury touches throughout. Comfortable ride, plenty of horsepower. Classy looking. Gas mileage could be improved but other than that it’s a great car. The interior is sharp, looking the headliner isn’t your usual stuff which helps with overall noise control.

Best car I have ever owned

You get everything you want and need without the price tag and service record that will empty your bank account. It’s beautiful inside and out and the drive is wonderful! Decided on the Genesis over Rang Rover Sport and very happy I did. We are a Land Rover family, and we made the switch, so should you! You won’t be sorry!! My mom got one a week after I purchased mine.

Best bang for your buck

What you get for the money is phenomenal value. The features are plentiful. The warranty is unmatched, the styling looks like a Bentley without the price tag, it's roomy and I'm a tall guy so that goes a long way for me. The color options are great Green with the green leather is what I went with.

Very happy with the purchase of the car. I love the look and the drive very much. The safety features allow me to feel more confident in the challenging world of North Texas traffic. The exterior design is awesome and the interior design is even better. I can't wait for the next opportunity to drive my car!

Genesis is a very unique looking vehicle. Ever since the first time I saw Genesis on the road it separated Itself by looks from other vehicles. I'm very happy with my car so far no problems at all. Hopefully they can upgrade the navigation to show when there are police in accidents on the road like Waze.

My experience with the GV- 80. Think it is a great vehicle I have owned five Genesis vehicles ado not ever

See myself owning any other car for the rest of my life. I do not know what else I can say accept I love the brand so uch that I have talked others into buying a Genesis. Most noticeable is my son who has worked for and driven BMW for about 25 years and he called me to say Dad, I am now a Genesis owner of a G70 thanks to you

2023 GV80

Beautifully designed and driving wise have been great. However issues which have been less than ideal. The wireless charger does not work (we had dealership look into this and they said it’s a problem they couldn’t fix..). Additionally the check engine light has been coming on and off (started a week after purchase) - we have been told that we need to bring in the vehicle to a dealership when the light is on for them to assess (they were able to confirm through their vehicle remote analytics that the check engine light has been coming on) - it’s a bit frustrating that so soon after getting the car it’s having such an issue and one where it’s become our responsibility to bring in the car when the check engine light comes on at random times..

First Genesis

I haven't had the car long (few months) and I've noticed a hesitation on light acceleration. I really like the car, but I'm reticent about the dealer service. I ordered a trailer hitch when I purchased the car and it took a couple of months for the dealer to get the hitch. Then it takes several weeks for an appointment for the hitch installation. While I like the car, I wouldn't purchase it again. I traded in my Lexus and now regret that.

Very happy with the purchase of my GV80. I have only had it for 4 months so far and everything has been great. I get a lot of compliments on it from friends and total strangers of how much they like it. I have no problems with recommending the Genesis brand to people that ask about it.

GV80 Review

Like the vehicle overall. Do not like the fact that it does not have some type of spare tire. Travel in some rural areas and the last flat I incurred was in a rural area many miles from a dealership and tire store. Screw in tire caused a large hole that required tire replacement. Have been disappointed with gas milage.

Terrible comfort for other than a 15 minute ride

This vehicle has been a huge let down for us. It is built nicely and has many safety and other features. The problem is that the seat is so uncomfortable that we can't go for a ride more than 10-15 minutes without legs aching. Without comfort, what is the use of having it?

Best vehicle I’ve ever owned

I just love my GV80! Super fun to drive. Great tech! Drivers seat is the most comfortable seat in the world. The massage feature is fantastic! I love the blind spot/blinker feature. I feel totally safe in all weather conditions. I get compliments all the time! Love this vehicle. So happy I bought it. Thanks genesis for such a great vehicle!!

Big man from Brooklyn

Loved this vehicle from first site. I was sold for sure after test driving it. Beautiful and elegant looking. The message feature while driving on the highway reduced that tired feeling after driving for a while. I look forward to driving everyday even if for a short distance.
